EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Experiential learning process involves four stages: Concrete Experience, Reflective Observation, Abstract Conceptualizations & Active Experimentation.

We all know that theoretical knowledge and practical experience has never been the same. Experiential learning focuses on the learning method and helps the employees make innovations, conduct research and perform the task with the knowledge gained through firsthand experiments.

In the first stage, an individual experiences a situation in a concrete environment. He makes a few observations after analyzing the situation. Basis his experience and understanding, he tries to replicate the same in the activity. The reflection of observations gives rise to fresh strategy and modified plans of existing abstract concepts. The individual then applies the same to the future experiments to test the results.
